I have the underseat storage for my 2005 Sierra. I love it, there is so much room in the back for storing my roadside emergency kits, tow straps, everything that would roll around if I didn't have it. Great addition.

I have the underseat storage box for my 2008 EC Silverado; to my knowledge a lockable box is not available from Chevy for this model. If you'd like to see pics and a review of the unit I installed, look here:

My old man got cheap and cut a piece of 2x10 to fit in there perfectly. Then he made sides so crap didnt roll out when you open the doors. From what I can see it works good. Oh, and it was free.

I think the operative word in this request is "lockable".

 

I'd also be interested if any of you know of a lockable under seat storage.

I've seen the lockable console for storing things like pistols, but I'd be more interested in leaving that area unlockable for things I use every day. If I could store things under the rear seat via some lockable mechanism, it would be the best of both worlds.

 

Especially if it could be bolted in to the floor under the rear seat.

 

Out here in the sticks, I rarely leave the house without the guns.

Yes, I have a concealed weapons permit so it doesn't matter where I store the guns.

Call it Drugville/Alienville/Terroristville. They are all coming across and many are armed.

They are now estimating a thousand a week. Just in Arizona alone.

 

Oh by the way, they are all headed to your cities. Doesn't matter where you live.

The only lockable storage box for a GMt-800 I have

found is this GM one:

Part #12498846

It is around $400 bucks.

Will not fit gmt-800 crews

Also this box will NOT fit the GMT-900s

This is one of the underseat storage boxes for the

GMT-900s. It is a genuine GM part too.

Sadly NO lid and it is similar to the DU-HA

box that costs $179. But for $119 bucks it is fine!

I have one of these here in my garage that I took out of my 2004 E.Cab when I traded it. Can't sell it for $100. Too stinking big to ship, almost a $100. I have a few come from my Craig's list ad and offer me $50 but I ran them off.

 

If you are in the area code 906 you can have it for $100 and I will help you install it in my shop.

 

It will not fit the NBS 07-08.

Hey Elcam................$100 bucks is a steal for that box!

The cheapest I have seen them used is $250 bucks either on craigslist or fleabay!

 

Also note your box will NOT fit a crew cab either.

 

I shipped mine by UPS for $25 bucks without a box!

It was just taped closed and then labeled and shipped.

Whoever told ya $100 to ship was jerkin' your chain!

 

The one for my gmt-900 was shipped in a box by GM

and sent UPS for $25 also........................

 

It sucks some jerkoff was trying to get something for

nothing for your box. $100 bucks is MORE than fair!

I got the same line when I tried to sell mine for 125

to get my new one. I will let the b***h rot before I

let some fool try to stick it to me!

I took it up to the contract Shipping Shop last month (only place here), it was about $75 by Fedex and they said much more by UPS. Fedex had a special bag for flat $50+- rate but the box was just a little to big and the bag could not be sealed. Rates have sky rocketed to home delivery. Anything oversize is hit hard with surcharges. My local driver told me UPS wants to drop residential delivery. Another shipper just announced they were doing away with residential delivery DHL? Fedex is raising rate Jan 01.
