Axle Shift?

so i installed a CCM Offroad leveling kit which is similar to a truxxx kit in that it raises the front 2.5" and replaces the 1" rear block for a 2". the rear block isn't level, its more tapered with the taller side towards the rear. Anyways, now when i come to a stop and release the brake to take off again, the rear axle feels like its moving or shifting, it feels exactly like if someone bumps into the back of you. has anyone experienced this or think they know what the problem is? the only thing i can figure is the the rear blocks being tapered has something to do with it maybe

Unless the u-bolts or leaf springs aren't torqued down, there is no way for the axle to shift. The bump you are feeling could be coming from the slip-yoke.

Ive got the same issue with my truck except its 100% bone stock. Sometimes it clunks right before the truck comes to a complete stop but most of the time its right after I let off the brakes. Truck has 8500 miles and has been doing it for the last 2k at least

well the u bolts are definately torqued down, i used an air gun to tighten them down, but with how hard it hits sometimes, i doubt its the slip yoke, anythings possible though i guess, and i'm glad to hear that a stock truck is having the same problem, i didn't wanna have to swap out the rear blocks again

Im going to try lubing the slip yoke going into the trans and see what happens. Not sure if it matters but I am only a 2wd but would be the same for the 4wd and the transfercase yoke
