Intake Manifold Gasket

Using the felpro 98000T gasket, now I've read some are using some RTV sealant on top of the gasket, just a very thin layer of it, and especially around the waterports. Others are saying to install it dry per the instructions. What does everyone think here?

i didn't put any on the gasket.. itself but on the "water ports" i did..

 

i better not have any problems... i didn't have very much fun doing it the first time ....

People like to go RTV crazy. If the instructions say install it dry. I would do just that.

Install it dry. Use the sealant at the water ports only.
