gmpartsdirectcom. price for the power steering pump for an '06 5.3 liter V8 is only about $ 109. This looks suspiciously cheap? Is this a misprint? Is this a new or rebuilt pump? Does it come complete with a pulley? I saw a much higher price before so I am somewhat confused. What is the true retail/wholesale price of that pump now?

EDIT: I just checked and gmpartshouse.com shows them at $114.73 for the non-crew cabs and $137.48 for the crew cabs. I'd say the $109 is probably accurate.

That may be the price for the pump without the reservoir. So you may have to swap the reservoir over from the old pump. May want to check that out. Just a thought, you may want to ask C & A’s Dad (Trey) about the pumps they carry at CarQuest. You may be able to get a BETTER part through them.
