22 inch wheels can look ok on some trucks... and like crap on others. A lot of the 22" designs look rather Ghetto so you need to be careful what you pick. (IMHO) The same can be said for 20s though and I like mine.

 

22s look best on lowered trucks.

I have that size on mine 08 Silverado, different tires though. If you like 22s and those tires, do it. It may feel good to have people agree with your choices, it is far more rewarding to have what you want and like.
