Anyone have the GM 6" oval step bars (assist steps) installed? Do you like them? Any pics?

Those look good. I thought about them for mine but I would be stepping over them. The truck does not sit up high enough that I would use them.I had some on my cummins like those, they are strong too.

And about 500 bucks haha, I was looking at a set but I got to thinking that I do go offroad a bit and my last set of nerf bars I bent up pretty good when I dropped one side in a ditch on the culvert...

$500? Try $625....Installed pre-delivery. yeah, I got ripped, but they are worth every penny IMO.

Thanks for the quick response! I've got a family of 5, with three youngn's, and could use the step-up into the Z71 (just high enough to cause a little difficulty). I recently saw a set of step bars on a GMT900 Chevy that caught my eye, and it looks like they were the GM model. It's hard to tell without a closeup, but if they are the same, then they are much nicer than most I've seen (wide and stout).

p.s. Do the elves come with em?

Yeah, when I ordered my truck and got the $625 price for the bars, I decided to go shop around and compare. After looking at the alternatives, I decided to go with the GM 6" oval steps, even for nearly double the price. They are that much nicer IMO. And I had 3" round sstl ones on my 2000 that I was happy with.

Nope, the elves are all mine, sorry.
