Solid Axle Negative Camber

Is it within normal specs to have negative camber (approximately -0.5 degrees) on the rear solid axle on a 2006, 1500 4X4 Silverado crew cab? The other wheel has almost zero camber(i.e. perfectly vertical). Is there any way to adjust the negative camber to zero? Is it detrimental to the axle bearing? Does this negative camber mean damaged, i.e. bent rear axle on one side?

The only way to alter the rear camber on these trucks is to bend something. (I'm sure you already know that Pete) BUT - I have seen as much as one degree show up on trucks that were never damaged. I guess all housings are not perfectly straight. A small amount of camber will not hurt anything bearing wise.

Thanks Jim, that is the answer I was looking for. And yes, I knew there is no way to adjust the rear wheel camber on these trucks.

When the company I work with started doing lift kits (and alignments) we were surprised when we started seeing rear camber readings. I first noticed it on the alignment printouts. I always had assumed that the rears were just straight up and down and the housings were straight. Apparently it is quite common.
