I have had this issue for a while....over a year and still no fix. Dealer has had the truck many many times.

1. first attempt = nothing, could not find anything claim they have tested for drain and bad battery. Also reprogrammed BCM.

2. 2nd = door locks

3. 3rd = on star

4. 4th = fuel pump relay

5. 5th= to be continued.....saying it may be radio

6. 6th will = new truck, something I can depend on. I like my truck but I am at the end. I have to have a truck I can depend on, and this thing die's for no reason at any given time..... :bs:

So, what brand out there is immune to problems? I'd like to know, so I can go buy one too. :bs:

Nice reply. I guess you would not be a little upset if it were you?

I edited my post, I am not bashing gm.......I like my truck, I just need something I can depend on. I am just not sure If I would by another Chevy right now.

Of course I would, but I am not so naive to think changing brands over one issue (even a persistant one) would solve the problem. Now, if I had several different issues on multiple cars/trucks, then yes, I would switch brands. My truck has not been perfect, but until someone makes one that is, or I am convinced switching brands is the best solution, I will stick with what has treated me well over the years.

Cheers! :P

Luckily NO.

Never had a dead battery. My truck sits in the garage sometimes 2 weeks at a time without being driven so it's had plenty of opportunity to drain if it was going to.

I must admit it would suck if it did.

No issues here,And if anyone would have the "dead battery issue" it would be me,My truck sits for weeks at time, sometimes a month, between starts or when I drive it.

Heck the last time I drove it lately was the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Now watch....I'll go out to start it and it'll be dead!!! :bs:

damn, I thought I was paranoid, but then again I have gear that is connected to the truck and could kill the battery.

Yeah,If I had a C6 I would have a battery tender hooked-up to it since they go dead within 2-3 weeks of not being started/ran.

But so far no issues with this truck,or the '04 I had that also sat a lot in between starts/drives.
