Buying New Wheels

So..... I am thinking about picking up some new wheels for my truck. I would love to buy wheels and tires, but the bank is not allowing it right now ;)

Here's my predicament..

I have the stock 17'' LT wheels which I have found to be OEM = 17" x 7.5" with 31mm offset = 4.97" backspacing

The wheels I want to get (Helo HE835) are 17'' x 8'', with a backspacing of 4.5 with 0mm offset.

This will obviously fit on on truck as it is now, and it would also fit my stock tires right? (265/70/17 pretty sure)

And my biggest concern is for when i do decide to purchase tires, which will be 285/70/17 (33''). I will have installed a 2.5'' CCM leveling kit at this point, and I was wondering if I would be free of rubbing... I know for a fact that with the level and tires on STOCK wheels I would be fine. But with the small difference in wheel size will this be a problem??

Please help!

I think you will be fine. I run 305/55/20's (33x12.5) on stock 20x8.5 with the CCM 2.5 kit, and have very very minimal rubbing at full lock.

I think you will be fine because your new wheels will only stick out from the fender about an inch. Even with the taller wider tire, the 2.5" of lift should be enough.

You may wanna try the search under leveling, or 285/70/17, there have been many conversations and there are probably a few people that are running that exact set-up. You may find more positive information.
