Aftermarket (Viper I think) remote start.

 

Anyone know what happens when the vehicle battery is changed?

 

Does this affect the aftermarket remote start? Does the remote start have to be reprogrammed? Or not?

Mines not a Viper but changing batteries has never effected my remote.

i've owned three viper remote starts and i've changed the battery in my vehicles and i've never had to have had to had it reprogrammed.

All the settings are contained within the brain, disconnecting the battery won't lose any settings.
