More to it than that, though. The shape of the cone of the lug nut, its depth, etc., should be confirmed. If the shape of the cone does not touch the rim exactly (conical seat), then the lug nut will be apt to vibrating loose. Just confirm it.... I'll betcha it works, but I'd still check it.

I agree. The taper is critical. Make sure they seat in the new wheels. I'd bet they will be just fine.
