Please read the first 4 posts in this thread. GM doesn't want info like this posted all over websites. you can get this info from a dealer. I've gotten them at no charge. YMMV though.

Well, I bought the truck without running the vin and found out it was a rebuilt and had a warranty block on it. I can't seem to find out where the damage was on the truck and was hoping this may take me in the right direction.

carfax? When i was shopping around thats what I used. It tells you a lot of neat stuff, but its only as smart as what its told. It might help you know what kind of damage was done.

the dealership should be able to see more or less why it has the warranty block (if the goon knows how to read it).
