Tape Player

In my truck i have a tape player and when i put a tpe in it just clicks and trys to read it ( you can here it moving and then it spits the tape out and wont play it) i was woundering if any of you have had this problem. It is annoying becuse i cant use one of those tape player mp3 converters. Any responses will be apperciated.

My first home stereo had a 8-track player and a turntable. I bought it at Zayre's Shopper's City. I had to tape pennies onto the turntable arm to keep it from skipping.

 

The year was about 1978 or so iirc.

Good quality aftermarket CD players with auxiliary inputs go for dirt cheap nowadays.
