I am in the middle of a dilemma. I have paid a company to build me a under the seat speaker box for 2-12" subs. They have sent me 3 different boxes and cannot seem to get it right. The reason for my asking your opinion is this, there are a butload of behind the seat versions but I have heard that it sounds like garbage behind the seat versus under in a downfire situaion. Didnt know fi nyone had any input. Just wondering if I should stick it out with these people and let them keep building or cut my losses and get a behind the seat box. Any help is greatly appreciated

oops sorry, I have an 06 silverado crew cab 1500 non hd

Down firing sub box under a rear seat is about the best you CAN do in a crew cab. I've heard some that really hit hard. Most were running 2 10s. There are a lot of prebuilt boxes for these trucks that fit like a glove. I'd run away from anybody that couldn't get it right in three tries. Is it being built by some guy with a handsaw that lives out of the back of a pickup truck?
