New 09 Sierra 4x4, Z71, 5.3, SLE Extended

Dealer in MI is selling it for $27,112

Considering there is $4500 in rebates right now, this guy is giving this thing away...

Probably stickers near $34,400 area...

I think it's a great time to buy. Eating lunch at work today I came across a local GMC dealer and checked out the deals on the 09 Sierra's. SLE1, Z71, Tow, 18" wheels, 5.3L, dual climate, remote start, etc... basically same as my truck for 24K. Stickered for $36,000. That's $12K off a new 09 in January!!!!! I paid $23.9 for mine last Aug and got 11K off sticker when the truck market was in the tank at $4.00 gal gas.

IMO I wouldnt buy a truck like that on ebay... But then again I dont think that I would ever buy a vehicle on ebay!

I can imagine selling 2,237 cars on eBay. You've apparently sold a lot of cars.

  I read that there’s a bolt on the battery brace that sometimes gets loose. I checked all the bolts around there that I could, and all were tight. This sounds more like it’s under the dash, maybe closer to the driver footwell. Anyone else have this problem, or know a possible cause? https://imgur.com/a/kaQRZZH

  Morning here- I have a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500-5.3 L engine (low mileage -two owner)--I'm retired now-so I don't drive as much--anyway-just had the oil /filter changed-I have always used Amsoil Synthetic and NAPA gold oil (#7045) filters-now i read that GM has changed the oil filter requirments for these engines- and they (GM) recommends/ want to go w/ a different filter w/ more psi rating on the relief valve (in the filter) to open like 22 psi. The above featured one I mentioned shows 12-15 PSI--which doesn't kmeet these new specs.. Wow-stuff is like getting more/more technical all the time. I think it looks like trying to avoid these sticky lifter problems. Any thoughts or recommendations here? I'm kinda confused-- Thank you- glenn
