I have had a few close calls with this truck so far i have only owned it for 2 weeks now. I press the brakes and they are rock hard and do not stop(standing on the brake pedal) i left off the pedal and apply again brakes work. This is happening everyday now. I do not want my wife or anyone else driving this till i fix this. The truck has new calipers, pads rotors front & back. So im guessing its something to do with the ABS. I have never had a vehicle like this before. Any info would be great.

thx

Does this happen after something like this: light braking-foot comes off -push on brakes and they're hard? Does the pedal stay near the top of it's reach, or does the pedal bottom out and still not apply hard enough? If it's staying near the top it sounds to me like your brake booster isn't working properly or can't get enough vacuum. The diaphragm might be ripped/damaged, or there just might be a leak in the vacuum line.
