96 Silverado Dash

SO I was just wondering if any of you had heard if anyone has swapped out the regular Dash for a 99+ dash? Im planning on swapping out the Engine and Transmission from the 5.7L i have now to the 6.0 Vortec from a 2003 Silverado. An I really wanna swap everything from the interior too! I think it would be neat, I love the style of my 96 but I love the interiors of the 99+ trucks! Anyone who has some insite to what I wanna do would be great.

Without some MAJOR redesigning skills and a LOT of time, this ain't happening. The two trucks are completely different body designs. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it would be a major custom job.

Yeah, I think you'd definitely run into sizing issues. You'll have to stick with the shitty ol' brittle dash, sorry!
