Lift Requires Alignment?

i heard that installing a lift will make it necessary to get an alignment. is this true?

and would it be true if i just did like a 2" front lift and an add a leaf in the back?

any time you change the angles of you front end components, its necessary to get an alignment. Ill be adding Uniball UCA's to my already aligned lifted truck but im still getting another one done.

What are the Uniball UCA's for? I am going to install a Fabtech 6" with 35s is there anything that I should look into purchasing to reinforce anything or replace certain items? I need all the info you can give because I am in the Bahamas and really don't have shops or specialty shops to ask these questions.

He has added an additional spacer to the top of his coil-over. This provides another 2" of lift on top of the Fabtech. This spacer also leaves the upper control arm at a bad angle, and closer to the droop stops at ride hieght. The new upper control arms are angled more then stock, thus providing more space between the droop stops and correcting the bad angle at the spindle. The uniball is also better as it is stronger and provides more movement then a balljoint.

Is that something I need to buy when setting up my truck like yours?
