I need to connect 2-channel converter for my aftermarket amp for my subs but from what i heard i need to connect it before the bose factory amp that i have preinstalled. So they issue is finding the Bose system amp in my truck. I have a 08' Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. A diagram of its location would be GREAT!!!

THANKS IN ADVANCE..

Are you connecting a HI to LOW level converter to take speaker leads and bring them to RCA connections? If thats what you are doing I would tap them AFTER the amp. OR I would not use that converter at all. The factory radio is already sending a low level (RCA) to the bose amp. IF you have a two channel output to that bose amp coming off the radio just tap RCA wires directly to it. If that works return your HI/LOW converter and get a noise supressor, you'll need it. Oh yeah no need to find the amp, the beginning of those wires is at the back of the factory deck.

check the12volt.com for any other info, site is great and loaded with TONS of stuff for aftermarket audio and security.
