Hey Rich, how easy was it to install?

I only ask cause mine is a lease (thank god since right after I got it truck prices plummeted). I want to know how easy it would be to take out at lease end, or just give it to the dealership. This guys lease just ended and he took it out of his (barely used however as it was recent) truck and is selling it.

What you think?

they are simple to install just need a spot for the ballast to sit and be zip tied down. I just bought a setup for my gf's Honda for $35.99 for the 6000k white. The prices have come down ridiculously, when I bought the HIDs for me silverado they were around $120 but then again I did get the 20,000k dark blue. Had to change them out 3 different times, due to police and their fancy fix-it-tickets. Now one sheriff was hilarious because he actually said I looked like a police vehicle when I came into the parking lot and told me to change the lights. I said first off who drives a lifted silverado on 35s and what cop has blue lights in there Headlamps. LOL anyways bought white replacement HIDs for $20 and sold the blue for $10. They are very simple so yes do purchase some but for the color your going for they could be cheaper in price

Definately worth it. I would stay away from the cheaper setups though, ive heard bad things. The kit I bought from a member here cost $439 when new. The lights are amazing. http://www.brightheadlights-hid.com/Chevy-HID-Headlights.htm this is the site My lights are from. I dont think they have ones for the NBS' but you chould try to find something similar.

He says the kit was $300 brand new. I mean that's obviously word of mouth but I wouldn't buy nothing without seeing it first.

Are 8000k to blue to anyone? I was thinking more 6000k cause its a nice white but I guess that all opinion.

Very easy to install,Me and my cousin had them installed in about a half-hour,You don't even have to remove the headlight assemblies,You do however have to remove the air-cleaner housing assembly though to get to the bulb.

We also installed them in his '08 Impala SS,Took a little longer in it as we had to actually unbolt and remove his headlight assemblies.

They are generally only $10-30 for new bulbs right? Or am I thinking of the wrong thing?

Really?

So what your saying is, I would be crazy to not pick it up for the price its being offered at? Assuming it's a good quality one of course.

I'm putting it all on you man!

They run $45 apiece from where I got mine from,I just got the complete kit for $115. (This also included the relay kit which I highly recommend, since it will draw power from your battery and not the vehicles electrical system)

Where would I find a relay kit? What are the downsides to it feeding off the ves?

And with a thumbs up, it would be stupid of me not to do it :D
