Remote On For 2004 Silverado

Today, I picked up an PAC AOEM-GM24 to install another amp and sub in my 2004 Silverado w/Bose. Everything went fairly well with the exception of the remote on. I connected the blue/wht to the pink wire in the harness...so I know it was wired as per the instructions (as well as based on what I have read here). I thought there might be a problem with the PAC harness so, I bypassed the PAC unit altogether by plugging a wire directly into the pink wire in the Bose amp harness...still no dice. Any ideas?

I ended up pulling the remote on from the sunroof RAP harness. It seems to work well. However, I am getting some noise and I'm not sure if it's due to using the sunroof as a remote on or if I need to clean-up my ground.

Overall, I am pleased with it and if this one thing was fixed, I would be extremely pleased with it. I think the Bose responded nicely to a 10" Kicker in a Vantage box.

Thanks for your help,

-Pete

I have tried searching the forums and have found nothing...anyone know why the pink wire in my 2004 does not function as a remote on.

One other piece of information I found during the diagnosis of my problem, when I would plug and unplug the blue/white wire to my added on amp, I would get a clicking in the right rear speaker. That makes me think the pink wire in my truck is NOT a remote on.

Thoughts?

The ground is about a foot long and is the same ground I used in my 1994 with no problems. The reason I think the remote on is not working properly is because I can use the sunroof RAP and it works fine. So, if it were the ground, I would suspect that all types of remote on would not work.
