2007 Nbs Silverado Transmission Problem-help

Small V8 NBS 2007 Silverado Quad Cab. 22k miles. Automatic Transmission

 

After starting from a stop light, I noticed that the truck will no longer shift from 2nd gear. The RPM's jack up to 3-4k, but speed will not increase very much.

 

Is there anything I can check or do I need to have it towed to the dealership? It should be under warranty??

Have it towed to the dealer. It's still under warranty.

 

EDIT: Make certain to call the dealer first though and get the correct number to use to call GM so they can foot the towing bill.

Just call the dealer and tell them the vehicle is broken if you under the bumper to bumper warranty (look in the owners manual) its covered.
