That is nearly identical. Thankyou. I looked all over the net for that. I was gonna go to the dealer today and see if they could print me one.

My diff has 1 less clutch on the right side and a small bolt that holds the pinion gear shaft in place rather than a pin. Also the thrust block is more square. Would you have a picture of one like that? I can't remember exactly how the clutches were but know that they weren't how this picture shows especially on the right side. Thankyou for the help.

 

Oh, guess what everything costs here in Canada. Left clutch pack $167, right clutch pack $311, and full assembly $1632. Are there any aftermarket clutches available?

You could probly get an auburn for about 3-400 canadian i would think, unless they have gone higher than they used to be a few years ago....

I picked up a trutrac for $570. Doesn't work near as well as the locker when on ice but at least it's affordable. The idea of applying the brake to transfer power to the wheel not spinning doesn't work on ice. At least I couldn't get it to work. Maybe it needs to break in. It seemed like a waste not to repair the G80 when all that was wrong was the clutches. I expected about $50 for all of them, not $480. I was hoping I could get them somewhere other than the dealer. Otherwise it's staying as an open diff. It's only for a spare.

the trutrac has to be under power to lock up on ice...you have to tap the brake with your foot on the gas, unlike the g80 that does it with a differential of wheel rpm.
