On my 04 burb I keep everything up to date and replaced. Now im wondering how long the rear U- joint last as I take very long road trips. I have 56,000 miles. Do we wait untill they fail or replace them as a form of maintance ?

thanks

Well I have always kept a spare in my truck, just in case. But I tend to forget the tools to do it. If there is any doubt so it now. I had them last on mt 94 Chevy last 150000 miles, but my Dad's 96 needed new ones after only 75000 miles.

I had mine on my truck go bad at like 40K. You could hear it squeak pretty bad it never did fail

Same here, but at 25k. I have never had one fail on me on ANY of my trucks.

I replaced mine at 100k just because I am rough on it. I also keep a spare in the toolbox.

I've never had one fail on one of my trucks. I did have to replace a couple on jeeps through the years. Extreme angles eat them up. They always gave me plenty of warning (made noise) though. I'd say 100K could be easily expected out of one that doesn't do a ton of heavy towing or offroading.

Hey, Zemb, what is it that you are selling now?

He's selling auto parts. Check out his section in the Vendor's forum.

Yep. Never know when you might need something! We are adding lots of new part numbers weekly. Been at it for a couple of months now and it is going quite well.

Auto Parts? Auto Parts, who in their right mind would be in the Auto Parts business.

I have been pedaling Auto Parts full time since 1978 and did it 2 years before that while in high school.

Now, buying your parts from a Crazy Clown, that may be questionable.
