Blower Motor Inoperative

Recommended Posts

While this is a slightly different symptom, I would suggest blower motor resistor. Super easy repair, approximately 35 buck part.

Do a search on here, there's a tech wiki on it.

My 2004 HD2500 had a blower motor quit working on high speed. All the other speeds are OK. Any Ideals?

I would look at a wiring diagram and use a multi-meter to see if the motor was getting power or not for high speed. In some cases one wire would have power for high speed (general auto troubleshooting). In other cases two or more wires would have power at the same time.

If the wires are getting the correct power per the wiring diagram, then the motor would need to be replaced. Or if no power as it should , then start troubleshooting backwards toward the switch in the cab.
