i ride dirt bikes too. but i would never ever consider lowering a truck. If you put three bikes in the back your gonna bottom out. and forget haveing a trailor.

The difficulty of installing it yourself depends on your mechanical skills. As for the shocks, yes you will need new ones,as the stock shocks will now bottom out on full compression.

Do you have a lift, a garage, a floor jack, any tools, any skillz??? It'd be helpful to know those thing when trying to give you an idea of the effort you have in front of you.

I'd suggest finding a friend with the tools and experience or finding a local shop that will install everything for you for a reasonable price. Don't forget to get an alignment when it's all through.

Post some pics now as she sits and then some new ones once the drop is on.

FYI, I'd much rather see a nice lowered truck than any DONKmobile.

why lower??? trucks are supposed to haul or tow things or go off road.

You can still put airbags on a lowered truck, and then his truck will be better at hauling dirt bikes than yours.

I have nothing really to add, but haters piss me off. Would I lower my truck? No. But it's my decision what the f*ck I do to my truck.
