Hid Fog Lights

Ok looking to see if i can get an estimate on how many people would be interested in a group buy on these. I know they had a group buy on the putco lights. Trying to see what kind of interest we can get for the hid's. I found a company that sells the kits for $98 with free shipping. I sent them an email to see what kind of deal i could get on a group buy. Just trying to feel everyone out here to see if they would be interested in the plug and play kits instead of the cut hammer and splice with the other bulbs. Not that they are bad ideas by anymeans, plus there are some great write ups about them, thank you Daddy and F4mous!!!!!

Well let me know what you think. Or if you know of any other plug and play kits that are out there for cheaper feel free to chime in.

FYI, I have contacted most of the sellers on ebay and none have the bulb in question.

Well according to the Sylvania lamp replacement guide the GMT900 Chevy's use a trade number 5202 fog lamp bulb.

When I look the fog lamp bulb up in the GM parts catalog they don't list a trade number at all,Just the GM part number, which is 15839897.

Also theres a few mistakes in that guide,They list a 4157NALL as the DRL bulb, not true since the GMT900's use the low beam headlamp bulb for the DRL's.

They also list a 2825LL for the sidemarker bulb, again not true since they use a 4157NALL for the park/sidemarker lamps.

I don't know,Thats what I can't figure out,The thing thats buggin' me is that I can't get the trade number of the bulb from the GM parts catalog to verify that its a 5202 bulb.

I guess maybe what I'll do is call our local NAPA and see if they list a 5202 bulb and have them send one down to look at if they do,But when I called them a couple weeks ago they didn't have a listing for a fog lamp bulb on the GMT900 trucks.

Geez....I just looked again at that place you found Pete,$269 bucks for them! A little higher than I want to pay.

so are we all in agreement that the 5202 is the right bulb?? i knew the other site had a good picture of them. Just their kits are expensive!!!! 269.00 a kit i think we can find a better price!!! even at 98 is better than the 269.

Yeah,I would agree that the 5202 is the correct fog light bulb....Or it sure as hell looks like it!!!!
