Bridgestone Dueler A/t 693 Problems

I have a 2005 Z-71 Sierra that I bought new, and has 30,000 miles on the factory tires, Bridgestone Dueler A/T 693 II......They've actually worn fairly well, they probably have 30% treadlife remaining on them. But I'm noticing that they are beginning to show lots of small cracks in the tread grooves, and the tread blocks themselves are losing "chunks" of rubber. Nothing major, but several blocks are missing edges where the rubber has broken off. Anyone else had this experience? Obviously the safest bet would be to replace them with some load range "C" tires. Thanks for the thoughts.

Your tires are going through the natural aging process for rubber exposed to sunlight and ozone. You probably can run them for a bit longer. Use the time to decide what your replacement tires should be and where to get them for the best price. Factory tires usually aren't the greatest of quality. I got 38k out of mine.
