Exhaust System

Does anyone know if the exahust system from a regular cab long box will fit my extended cab short box.

I found a complete one in a wreckers on a truck and it's really cheap, but I want to make sure it will fit. I know there's 4 different wheel bases on these trucks, but if this will bolt right on that would be great. There's nothing wrong with my system, except it's a little too loud and when I have people in the truck, I feel bad for them. I don't mind it, after all I made it, but I would like people to feel comfortable when we go somewhere.

My truck is a 99 extended cab short box z71 (new body style) and the truck in the wreckers is a 2000-2002 not sure 2wd regular cab long box. There is also about a 2000 Gmc Yukon, my buddy put a system off one on his 97 pickup, that's another option.

 

Any info would be great.

No, the RCLB wheelbase is shorter than that of the ECRB.
