Anyone Elses Truck Rusting Here?

I washed my truck today. I was drying the inside of the door frame when I noticed this. It is right where the seal meets teh cap on the drivers side doors.

I'd be heading off to the dealer and showing them that. As it certainly shouldn't be rusting like that (under normal conditions).

I didn't think it should be either. Like I said I dry off the inside of the doors every time I wash the car. I don't know where the moisture is coming from.

Our parts truck is the same way,but only on the drivers side.

I checked my 2008 and the rubber is under the cap and can't be pulled back back without removing the cap. But tomorrow I will remove the cap to check it.

Thats only for rust-through,Regular corrosion is only covered for 3yr/36,000 miles

The rust I am seeiing in that picture is part of the weatherstripping / gasket... not part of the truck body. Warranty should cover replacement without question.

I checked mine and it was dirty, but no rust in there.
