Earnhardt Edition Camaro SS

A couple of months ago I saw a limited "Earnhardt Edition" camaro for sale around here. It was a '99 and the ad said that it was a limited edition with a commemorative plaque on the dash signed by Dale and Dale Jr. The price was good and the miles were very low... I wish I had ?K to blow back then. The car would certainly be very collectable now (unfortunatly). I'm guessing that this car came from Earnhardt Cheverolet and was something he put together himself. The ad claimed it was all documented!!!

They are legit and they are directly from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. Each year they make about 25 of each of these models: Monte Carlo SS, Camaro SS, and Silverado 1500 Sportside. Each one is black with some custom decals and custom leather interior. Dale then signs each one on the face of the glovebox door. You can only get them from that dealership. They also make the Monte Carlo SS in a red "Dale Jr" edition. My wife's parents almost bought one, but they didn't want to fly to North Carolina to pick it up. They ordered a new loaded Monte Carlo SS High Sport from a local dealer a few weeks ago. It should be here any day now (dealer says it's in transit!)

I don't know what Dale's dealership will do now. They have a website at http://www.daleearnhardtchevrolet.com but it will be down for a few days because of the accident. There are quite a few used ones up for sale on ebay.
