Body-color Bumper?

Recommended Posts

Cell phone pictures (yet to stop raining for more than a day to wash and take good pics) but you can probably see that I have a faded paint job from black on top to grey on bottom. Its very gradual but very noticable during a sunny day. What are you opinions on having the bumpers custom painted to the gray that is on the bottom? If theres someone with photoshop willing to mess with it a little I promise I won't stop you.. Also, any other suggestions are appreciated! Thanks

I like it as is but think it sits a little high in the front end for my taste. Good looking truck. :rollin:

Yeah its does. I'm debating doing something with the rear-end to even it out, but for some reason I like it like that at times :rollin: . Up in the air.

Don't take me wrong there... it's a sweet ride.

IMO i think the chrome bumpers make it look sweet

At first i did not notice the two tone and that looks awesome

Thanks, yeah when I saw it I loved it, the paint really sets it apart.

You may not want my suggestions but I will give them anyway. I think you have a very good looking truck.

1. the Cali lean has to go!

2. Leave the bumpers. Your truck needs the chrome. With a fade what color would you paint them with out them stick out like a sore thumb.

3. Change your sig to the first pic. I actually like the looks of your truck in the first pic a lot, but sig pic :rollin:

No I appreciate honest opinions, thanks. I would have the bumpers matched gray with the lower half of the fade, the black upper isn't fading in until the top of the wheel wells.

Also agree, very nice looking rig! I didn't notice the color at first either, very suttle which makes it nice.

I would leave the bumpers as is. I think they look better on most trucks as chrome.

well depending on your lift they either used blocks or a combination of blocks and a Add-A-Leaf

if you just have a 4/5 Inch Steel block under the leafs then you can add a add-a-leaf to raise it about 1.5"

as a matter a fact i put a Fabtech Soft ride Add-A-Leaf in my truck and it brought it up 1.5" in the rear and i put a leveling kit on the front

Steven, killer looking truck as is. The chrome bumpers look great, IMO if you painted them then you would have to do something with the grill. The paint fade is awesome. Welcome to the site. :rollin:
