Tahoe Was Running Way To Slow...

The Radix only came with a 3.4" pulley, so the Tahoe was only seeing about 6psi. Definite power but still wasn't what I was lookin for, so we went ahead and threw a 2.9" pulley on there.

She is now seeing ~10psi and WOW she can scoot! Any blip of the throttle and you can hear the whining from under the hood. Will be very interesting once we take her to the track!

Will do, we took the TBSS to the track the other day and I think I have built enough confidence to try out the Tahoe (needed to learn the ropes). Unfortunately, after the first pass, I will be sitting in helmet territory, so we have to pick one up soon.

Will you marry me?

(sorry Justin. )

at 10 psi, what kind of power are you putting out, 500 at the flywheel?

We haven't gotten her on a dyno yet, but we estimate the power to be ~85-90% more than stock. EFILive gives a HP estimate but I don't believe that is all that accurate either. Just have to see when I can get her to a reputable shop to get on the rollers.

I will only consider your offer now, since you got rid of the chrome visor!

I promise I will stop correcting you if you say "yes". :D

Only if you can explain to me how/what it shielded from bugs? Most get stuck in the radiator or the mirrors. If you get Diamond Fusion on your windshield they hit and slide right off, consider it Astroglide for your car.

Yeah, actually we were both wrong. These days they are called "Hood Protectors", since all they do is protect the front edge of your hood.

Visors go above your windshield on the roof. Just ask Rich (MS3Dale). :D

Not to mention being annoying as all get out from the noise it makes in the wind!

Meh, mine didn't make any noise once I added the tape under the windshield trim.

But I do like the looks better now with it off.

So, you wanna come to MN or should I move to Virginia?
