1 10" Subwoofer In Regular Cab?

Recommended Posts

Is anyone here running a 10" subwoofer (just one) behind the center seat of a regular cab truck? Any opinions on overall sound?

Also, is it even possible to fit a sub box behind the jumpseat and still have the jumpseat fold up (ie. someone can sit in this seat if needed)?

I'd put in two subs, but I really want to keep my space behind the two main seats.

There's plenty of room to put a 10 there and leave enough room to flip the seat up while retaining all the space behind the two main seats.

I've got two 10's behind my seats though...And I put the amp under the passenger seat. I still have a massive cubby between the speaker boxes and behind the jump seat that perfectly fits a jacket, a ball cap, and my backpack when it's loaded for bear (it's quite substantial  ) without any of that sitting any higher than the top of the jumpseat in the down position. Perfect for me. If I have space behind my seats, I'll just fill it with crap.

I'm pretty sure I remember a guy on here doing what you want to do...But it was a year or two ago...And he put a big Kicker square sub there. I can't imagine how loud that sucker was.
