Was at the boat ramp last week.. came back in from the ocean.. and i saw an f350... trying to pull a boat up the ramp. it was about a 30 foot boat.. decent size.. and the truck just kept spinning. so then his buddy comes.. with basically the same truck.. and they both pull and spin tires to get the boat outta the water... whats funny is my buddy with his 34 i think foot boat... pulled it up the SAME ramp with a 2wd 1500.....lol. i wish i had my camera on me.... it was pretty funny. and really.. he never needed the other truck.. if he was smart.. he woulda used the boat to help power it up the ramp.. haha

ok im off to bed.. trail riding tomrrow in ocala. peace

I've seen a lot of folks do stupid stuff on boat ramps while waiting to drop off or pick up my boat. The driver is more important than the type of truck in most cases. Idiots are idiots.

You got that right, like making 15 attempts to back the damn trailer into the water.

If boats came with IQ tests you'd have the ocean/lake to yourself most days. I have been out on large lakes where the water can get rough quickly when the wind picks up. You always see a 12 foot aluminum dingy with six 250 pound bubbas in there swilling beer and hooking their friends ears.

Thats 1/2 the fun going to the lake... seeing all the stupid people! I only have a 21 footer and a 1500 but I have never had problems and I have seen people with bigger trucks and smaller boats have issues.

+1

It's entertaining (and frustrating) watching the boat launch nOObs. I sometimes have to help several people load/unload their damn boat just so I don't have to wait there all fricken day.

This is one of the big reasons I want to upgrade to a slippable boat...if only the economy didn't suck! :)
