I recently installed a Nav radio into my 2008 Silverado and I took it to the dealer to get it programmed correctly. However afterwards I lost the sound for the turn signals and the clock. The dealer is clueless as to how to restore these any help would be greatly

appreciated.

If you don't have factory premium bose sound, you'll have problems with hearing blinker and alert chimes as well as low sound from the radio. If you do have the bose and still have problems, the dealer may have done the programming wrong. Do a search on here for "navigation" and you'll find all kinds of stuff to read about it.

Here is the correct answer on all the NAV replacement questions, dismiss all the speculation and unknown responses. The Nav can be programmed tp function WITOUT an extra amplifier provided you had the UQ3 or UQ5 uplevel radio already installed. You just need a programmer who knows his/her stuff.
