Bose Bypass On 2003 Silverado

I was wondering if anybody has done the bose bypass using the metra harness on their truck? If so could you give me a basic how-to on the install. I know where the bose amp is located I just mainly need to know where to plug the harnesses in and what they hook up too. Help is greatly appreciated

I should probably add that I am planning on changing out the factory headunit with a kenwood ddx512 in-dash dvd player. This is why I am wanting to use the metra harness for the bypass.
