Duke just lost to Indiana!!  It's a beautiful thing!!  Wonder what old Dick Vitale is going to say about this?  All I know is he can take his duke this and duke that and shove it now!!

Duke didn't lose to Indiana, they lost to the refs.  Geez was that a badly called game.  Yeah, I know your going to say that's a copout excuse.  My buddy said the same thing and he's neutral on the game.  Terrible.

Yeah, I don't like IU either, but I am just happy to see duke lose, no matter who beat them.  Heck, I don't even like any teams from UNLV, and I go to school there!!  When it comes to college basketball I cheer for Nebraska (of course, but they should stick to football and baseball   ), and UCONN.

No I know it is not really a copout, I missed some of the game, so I didn't see alot of the bad calls your refering to.  I have seen many badly called games that have prevented teams that I like from winning, seems it is a fact of life nowadays in sports.  I have just never liked Duke and never will, probably stems from my minor enjoyment of UNLV basketball in the early 90's when I was a kid.

Both teams tried their best to give the game to the other team, luckily Duke was able to come through.  Being an Illinois student (lets see what they do tomorrow    ) I really hate Indiana, but only Duke can disgust me more.  This talk of Duke losing to the refs is hogwash, forever and ever Duke has won games by the calls simply because they are Duke and have Coach K who gets damn near every call he wants.  If Duke and their fans want to moan about that, fine, let them.  I don't think anyone is listening.  I still think Duke got plenty of calls tonight that went their way, Indiana got a few also, it all worked out in the end.  For the last part of the game Duke was playing scared, when that started it all went downhill for them.

 

I about hit the floor though when idiot boy Newton fouls on that last three, man what a bonehead move on his part.

YES, YES, YES !!        

 

I don't like either one, but I think it'll be easier for someone else to knock off IU than it would've been Duke.

 

GO KENTUCKY !!!!!  (I know, they're not gonna get past Maryland tomorrow, but if IU won tonight that gives me hope for tomorrow.   )

 

I'm rooting for UK, OK, Oregon, and Kent State(or Pitt, whoever wins tonight) for the final four.  But I know there is little hope for that.
