Tire Pressures?

ok i was reading my door sticker today and i swear it said 60psi up front and 80 psi in the rear? am i just retarded or reading it wrong or what? The sticker called for 245 75 16

there was another thread where we were talking about this...

 

that 60/80 is loaded weight (and make sure you only run that if your new tires are rated up to 80 PSI).

 

You could probably run 40-50 PSI all around and then up the pressure if you're hauling. At 80 PSI you'll get horrible wear unless you have the bed loaded

hmm its got 265 75 16 on it now would they be near the same? wow i could gain some MPG im runnin 36psi all around shit too used to 60's mobiles.

If you put that much air in, you'll swear somebody replaced your tires with solid steel ones. I run 32PSI

The sticker on my truck is 50 front, 80 rear. I have all 4 of them at 60, and they are 10 ply tires. The ride is nice on the highway, but you can tell she's a truck on pothole filled roads. :P

You need to go by the specs for the tire on your truck now. The sticker is for the tire that the truck came with from the factory. For instance, my 1/2 ton has e-rated tires I keep between 50-52 psi. The sticker says 30 psi.
