How Many All Terrain Owners Do We Have?

I'm on the verge of going with this package on an '09 Extended Cab. My dealer has 4 in stock, including two Crew Cabs but only in Onyx Black and Summit White. I've pretty much decided on a Steel Gray one at another dealer that's 125 miles away.

 

Wasn't real sure at first how I'd like the console layout but after sitting in one for a while it sure felt nice. So far they are offering $7055 of the MSRP but we've yet to really get down to business.

Hey Mark (Snarkee), how's the ride with those BFG tires? What size are they? I've been looking at tires lately since I plan to lift/level mine in the near future just about like you've got yours. I'm going with a Rancho QuickLIFT though...

I've got one too. An '08 SLE2 that looks like Snarkee's. I didn't originally consider it but when I was looking what I was choosing for options, I noticed that it was all in the AT package plus some extras. I like having it because you don't see many of them around. I'll get some pics one day.

I had that same debate when I bought mine. I could've had a Steel Gray for a little less money but it didn't have the sliding rear window (mine does) and for whatever reason I liked the way Stealth Gray looked on this truck better than I did the Steel Gray. I'm happy with my choice.

For you guys that own and drive them.....Im looking at buying one with the 6.0 6speed tranny and 3.42 gears. I was told they ride horrible tho, that me driving highway as much as I do, Ill hate it. How do you guys like the was the suspension rides? Ive drove a 2wd 5.3 and it rode amazing, can I compair those or is it a whole new game?

Holy crap, who told you they rode bad?!?! They ride awesome. I don't have an A/T but I do have the max trailer package and my truck drives smooth as glass. By far the best riding chevy truck I've ever owned.

I wont lie, it rides like a truck now. The tires are E load which is a 10 ply tire.....Its not bad, its just not soft like the stock tires. They are 285 65 18

Yeah, I don't know who told you that but they're WAY off-base. In my personal opinion the A/T rides just as smooth, if not smoother than the regular Z71. They're at the very least every bit as good as the Denali as far as ride quality goes, if not better in some cases because of the 18" wheels (as opposed to 20" on the Denali and some Z71s).

I have a 08 CC All-Terrain Onyx Black and I love the truck. I wish i would have got the two tone leather instead of the cloth but other than that it was a great purchase. As for the ride I'm coming from a lowered sports truck so I think the ride is awesome. I have taken a couple four hour trips and the truck was great.

Those Onyx black ones do look nice. I test drove the dealers black one this afternoon and the ride was outstanding coming from my '96 Ford. The leather seating is extremely comfortable.

Thank ya man, Im comming from the same scene of lowered 2wd trucks and Cars (91 Camaro)

But its starting to look like Im gonna get the truck....just trying to talk the dealership down a lil more.
