Over the years I've been to:

Atlanta,

Darlington,

Daytona,

Talladega,

Rockingham,

Charlotte,

North Wilkesboro,

Bristol,

Martinsville,

Michigan,

and

Indianapolis.

All totalled up, including Busch and IROC races, about 45-50 different races.  It would be nice to have all that money spent on tickets and other expenses.  :D  :D   But they were all a blast!

I've never been to an actual race but a few years ago I went down to Daytona USA in the museum and took a tour of the track, it was pretty cool :D

I have been to one of the races here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  It was great, hopefully I will be able to make it to a few more races sometime... :D

I've only been to one WC race--the first race at Daytona under the lights.  Wouldn't mind going to more races, except for the costs.  Mostly I just go to the local short tracks and drag strip, it's cheaper, closer, and just as fun.

New Hampshire (BGN, BGNN, WC, Modifieds, Super Modifieds, NCTS)

Atlanta (ARCA, WC)

Daytona (Goody's Dash cars, no WC)

sincity,

Back in the mid '90's I went to a couple races at a local track out there in Vegas when I was TDY to Nellis AFB.  Can't remember what it was called, but it was just a short distance out the front gate, and to the right, on the left hand side of the road.  It may be close to Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

I got a picture of picture of Chris Trickle (Dick Trickle's nephew who was killed a few years later in a drive-by shooting) with his car, that he autographed for my son.  He was pretty nice.  We hung out there after the race in his garage area and drank a couple beers and BS'd.

There's some good local dirt and paved tracks around here too, but I haven't got to go to any in last couple years.  ???

Yep there are a bunch of smaller short tracks, dirt tracks, and drag strips that surround the LV motor speedway, which is right across the street from Nellis AFB.  In fact whenever nellis has airshows now you have to park at the motor speedway.

Yeah that Chris Trickle story is really sad.  He was shot only a couple of miles away from my house is actually, right near Interstate 15.  He hung on for a while, but finally died, if I remember right.  They never were able to find who was responsible for killing him so that they could be brought to justice.   But that prick will get whats coming to him one day.  Glad to hear you got to enjoy some time with him, cause I know everyone around the valley talked about what a great guy he was.

I've been to atleast 5 BGN races @ RIR.

I also watched WC Qualifying and Happy hour practice.

I'd like to go to a CTS race this year and hopefully to the BGN race coming up in a couple of weeks.

I agree 100%.  I would much rather go to a local dirt track race then to a WC or Busch race.  I really like to watch the WoO (world of outlaws) races when they come around once a summer.  Its a shame that so many local dirt tracks are going out of business because people who like racing are too busy to go support the local tracks.  I can't wait for the racing season to get into full swing around here, I'm dying for some modified and late model races.

As for the WC races I have been too,

Atlanta (long before the remodel)

Indy and IRP(first Brickyard)

Talladega (back when it was in the middle of the summer)

Darlington (southern 500)

Texas (first race)

Daytona (first night race)

Kansas

We went to both the Cup and Busch or Arca races at all of these tracks.

I went to Charlotte last year and I will be going again this year.  That was my first WC race......I'm becoming very hooked on this sport after watching it in person.  There's a good chance I'll make it to a few tracks this year. :D
