Which Truck To Buy

Hi Everyone!

I'm currently looking at getting a 2009 Silverado LT Z71 ECSB. I narrowed down the choices to two trucks, both are black with cloth interiors

Truck#1

Black with Titanium Interior

5.3L V8

Cloth Seats w/40/20/40 Seats

All the usual options found on LT's(trailer pkg, etc).

Truck#2

Black with Titanium Interior

Cloth bucket seats with center console

Power Sunroof

DIC Switches on panel.

loaded with just about every option that can be installed into Silverado LT's

Truck#2 costs about 2500 more than Truck#1.

Justed wanted some input.

I say truck #2. I say this because I really want a sun roof.

Personally I'd decide how badly you want the sunroof. Personally I like the front bench seat better then the buckets but I do like sunroofs too and they are very rare in my experience on pickups. If you don't want the sunroof really badly or don't car about the front buckets then I'd go with truck #1.

Truck 1, I don't like the center console or Sunroofs. But truck 2 sounds like a nice truck.

Truck #2.....I regret not getting the center console and not having the steering wheel control for the stereo...... I could care less about the sunroof.

Truck #2 is probably a better deal. But I hate center consoles, since I'm a taller guy. They are always in the way of my legs. I think that GM did good with the 60/40 fold up console. Coupled with the storage under the jump seat, you can get more crap in it. It's much better than the console my 99 had for it's bench seat.

I'm always worried the sun roofs will leak at some point in the future. I know they're engineering and built to high enough quality so not to do that.

For $2500, I'd consider it.

I'd say neither. Only because after I bought my 5.3, wish I'd known better and gotten the 6.0. According to what's been said here, it is lots more power and darn close to the same gas mileage. Justin from Blackbear told me that he can do much more with tuning the 6.0 and that he can get the same mileage from it that he gets from the 5.3. But if you're down to those two, I'd say #2.
