Well not north to Alaska, but joinin in from Northern Alberta,

Been on the Subaru forums for quite a while now and have found them to be a useful tool, so I figure Gm-trucks.com has to be good to get some tips on my 02 Sierra Denali.

here's a pic from this Maylong, camping near Nordegg. (Ugly removable trailer mirrors still on...)

Going to start searching for my newb questions asap, but maybe someone knows this one right off the hop.

What size (bit) am I looking to buy to remove the rear diff plug? LUB-X guy said it was a GM specialty thing

Dont think there is a drain plug, just the fill plug, unless the Denali is different. Steven got it right. Its just a 3/8 drive that will open it. Get an extension, it will make it easier.

Are you close to Banff? My wife is a former cannuck from Calgary area. She showed peekturz of Banff, that places is BEAUTIFUL. I'd really like to go there one day.

BTW welcome aboard.

Thanks all.. I'll try the 3/8. Haven't actually gone under and looked yet ;), just took the Lube-X guys word for it. I was wanted a quick top up off all fluids before towing through the mountain's, but he couldn't do the rear diff...

Welcome aboard! How's the weather down there? I live in Alaska, so everyone is from the "south" to me. LoL!

Finally getting warm :)
