Will I Be Able To Retain Stock Suspension If Needed?

i have decided that i am going to go ahead and buy a suspension lift for my 2004 HD. i currently have a torsion key lift and am tired of the stiff ride as well as all the wear and tear on the front control arms and tires the key lift supplies. i have already decided on a rancho 4 inch with their RS9000 pro series shocks. after a read through of the install instructions, i am hesitant because of the cutting the lift requires to the stock front differential. could i ever, if need be, bring it back to stock suspension? thanks

On my 03, the suspension lift required a fin on the transfer case to be cut off... didn't effect the differential in any way, so to answer your question., I believe you could return to stock if you wanted. I saved all my stock suspension parts for more than 5 years and never needed them
