We'll now see if it was a bad driver or bad crew chief screwing things up on the 88 team. I'm leaning towards the bad driver.

no more excuses

They've both screwed up way too much since he moved over to Hendrick. But hopefully the new crew chief can get things in order.

I'm not sure, but now there will be no one to blame but the driver. Eury seemed to make some questionable pit box calls, but Dale does like to miss his pit stall too. We will see.

I haven't liked Jr. since Sr. was still around. I remember being pretty young and watching Sr. destroy people on the track. That man could drive! I'd feel safe saying he's the reason I got into racing. ...Or maybe it's because I'm a redneck. Oh well!

How many times has Jr. screwed up in the pits? DW said that he should just stay on the track and he'd be unbeatable.

That's hard to say, he could be to close to the wall, to the line whatever but he's missed his pit box 2 or 3 times this year.

I've watched the in-car coverage on DirecTV 2 or 3 times from Jr's car. There have been times that he'd be running GREAT, until a pit stop... Tony would call for a change and it'd screw the car up so bad, Jr could barely keep it out of the wall.

I, for one, am looking forward to see how he performs with someone who knows the ropes at Hendrick better and who communicates with the other teams better. That should improve the cars, which should improve his results.

Time will tell....
