I took delivery about 3 weeks ago and this truck rocks!!

The 6.2L is very fast and sounds great too. Should tow my 7000# enclosed car hauler just fine.

Only mod so far is a Volant air box, I kept the OE air tube to avoid the drone.

Yeah, WTF... Where's the pictures!

Ya know.. I was looking for the tow rating for the 6.2 and it shows only 7000 lbs. If you download the brochure, it says 9300 lbs so I'm not sure what your tow rating is.

I don't think you'd have any trouble towing 7000 lbs with 3.42's and the 6-speed.

My truck manual has a slip of paper with the corrected towing capacities, that may be the case. Or one place may have quoted the hitch or something. My hitch can do 5,000 right now with a ball, if I add a WD setup, it says it'll do 10,000, the manual says the truck is good for 7,000. I had to think about that for a minute when I was looking at it.

sorry about the no pics - I'll take some and post later

The NHT package comes with 3.73 gears and a tow rating of 10,400# (for crewcab 4x4), and I believe a 16,000# GCVWR

The Volant is a nice unit, and this one has the dry/paper Donaldson filter. Since I tow, I did not want to risk any drone, so I used the factory air tube (however this required some customization to adapt the MAF sensor setup on the 2009s). I don't know if the the Volant tube would drone or not, so might try it later.

I have not heard long tube headers with this factory muffler yet. I think there is someone on this forum has this setup
