Suburban Brakes

I'll chime in here and say that although I'm not as familiar with the Suburbans specifically,All the GMT400 trucks had "spongy" feeling brakes,I had three GMT400 trucks ('93-'94-'97) and the brakes on all of them left a lot to be desired as far as a "firm" brake pedal feel.

Yeah - I had heard that GM actually delays the onset of braking, to prevent/reduce rear wheel lock up. This enhances the sponginess. Our '94 Suburban felt very bad - new rotors, pads, bleeding, nothing helped.
