Hello everyone. I am new to the forum.....been lurking around a while anyway. I just sold my 2005 GMC Z71 crew 4x4 that was loosing some anti-freeze through the heads, had a whopping 56,000 miles on it. I just bought a 2009 set up the same way as my '05 with a few extras. I do have a question. I had the GM Performance air induction system on my '05 bit it appears it may not work on the '09 with the flex fuel. Would anyone happen to have any impute.

Thanks for the welcome! I didn't have time to get pictures today and then we were having our daily rain shower so I didn't get it out. I'll shoot some pictures tomorrow if it is not storming here and post them up. She is a good looking ride, Sonoma red Z71 Crew. Looking for a tonneau cover, steps and billet grill.

Welcome!!

The reason the GMPP cold-air intake will not work is because of a design change for '09,The MAF sensor is now in the upper part of the air cleaner housing asm.,instead of being a separate unit and bolted on before the air cleaner housing like it was in previous years.
