New Wheels & Tires

We had these tires sitting around at the shop for like 2 years. The wheels were taken off my bosses Tahoe. His tires were shot so he just picked up a whole new setup. i told him we should mount these up so we can get rid of the tires.

 

I ended up bolting them up to see if i like them. They are 275/60/20's. If i keep them ill pickup a leveling kit for sure. I only get a lil bit of rub right now.

 

They are not my fav wheels BUT i can get them for like $600 w/sensors installed.

They look good on your truck....Im not a big fan of black rims but they look alright on your truck

I am up in the air as well. The price is right though.

 

They sure do cut down on the acceleration.

Sorry, I just do not like black rims...however, I have to say that these are some of the better looking ones.

 

It is your truck and if you like them, enjoy them.

 

My neighbor told me two years ago that I should take off the Hummer H2 rims on my HD....they are still there because I like them...ha

I think it gives you a unique look. Even at $600 its an investment and something that took me a while to realize is that it doesn't matter what other think if I make my choice and I like what I've done its all that really matters. If I make the choice and second guessed it, I usually ended up regreting what I did and wound up throwing more $$$ to do what I should have done the first time. So now if I'm unsure and look to others for opinions, I step away from the deal.

I'm not particularly a fan of these wheels. Something about them remind me of a Jester's Cap.

 

However, based on the pics in the first post and in your sig, I think I like the look of the new wheels better than the stockers..

 

BTW : Is that pinstriping above the wheel wells and near the door handle??

I think they look unique and pretty cool. I wonder if you got the black part red how would they look then? They still look cool as they are on your truck. Maybe paint the rear wheel well black to match the front might add to it, debadge and take out the door molding. Lose the pinstriping perhaps?

I never thought about that, but I agree, that would look SWEET
