Well, its finally stopped raining over the weekend and I was able to wash the truck and take some pics with the new tires on it. I defintely like the 285's much better than the stock 265's.

No prob They're made by Husky Liners and I ended up installing the front ones underneathe the wheel well liner. The guy who installed my tires said that it actually worked out better with clearance issues.

I think you need to apply some logic on this one...IMO:

 

If you debadge your ride, then black outside. If you put letters out it takes away from the smooth look you are going for.

 

Badges on, letter outside or not...I think either look ok. But then there is maintenance required to keep the letters white/looking good I would guess. Never put letters out on any of my cars.

Alot depends on the look you are going for and the type of wheel on the truck. I think my truck would even more plain Jane, than it does right now, if I did not have the whites out with the stock steel 17" wheels.
